Ethics and EU AI Act in Cases of Work Disability Risk and Alzheimer's Disease Risk Prediction
Improvements in AI technologies have made it feasible to develop new types of medical AI tools. However, these tools raise new kinds of questions, especially in relation to the ethics and AI Act compliance. We analyzed two cases of AI tools developed to predict medical risks, the risk of work disability (case A) and the risk of getting Alzheimer's disease (case B).
