Privacy policy

Short version: we ask before we track anything. Nothing loads until you choose. If you accept the analytics prompt, Google Analytics runs and sets cookies; if you decline or don't answer, it never loads at all. The only other personal data we hold is the email address you give us if you choose to subscribe to the daily digest.

What we collect

What we don't do

Email delivery

The daily digest is sent via Resend, our email delivery provider, which processes your email address solely to deliver that message. Every email includes standards-based one-click unsubscribe headers. Opening the visible unsubscribe link shows a confirmation page so automated link scanners cannot unsubscribe you by accident.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) generates standard technical logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, retained only as long as Cloudflare's standard operational retention requires. We do not access these logs to identify individual visitors.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, withdraw analytics consent, or unsubscribe at any time, by writing to corrections@ethics.ai. If you're in the EU/UK, this covers your rights under GDPR/UK GDPR and the ePrivacy rules on cookie consent.

Changes

This policy changed on 17 July 2026 to document scanner-safe unsubscribe handling and clarify the distinction between analytics and standard hosting security logs. The updated date above changes whenever this policy changes.
