ethics.ai is an aggregator and reference library about AI ethics, published by an individual operator, not a media corporation. Using this site means agreeing to these terms.

What the daily feed is

The news, research, policy and field-notes feeds link to content published elsewhere. We display a headline, a short excerpt, the source, and a link — we do not host, rehost, or claim authorship of the underlying articles or papers. All rights in that content remain with its original publishers. If you are a publisher and want your feed excluded, write to corrections@ethics.ai and we will remove it.

What the reference pages are

The glossary, timeline, frameworks guide, debates library, people directory and evergreen explainers are original writing, hand-researched and periodically updated. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back; you may not republish them wholesale.

Automated classification is imperfect

Topic, company and region tags are assigned by a keyword-based classifier, not a human editor reviewing every item. It will sometimes mistag or miss things. Nothing on this site — including the EU AI Act tracker and other regulatory-deadline content — constitutes legal advice; verify anything consequential against the primary source we link to.

No warranty

This site is provided as-is. We aggregate in good faith from the sources listed on the sources page, but we cannot guarantee completeness, accuracy, or availability, and we are not liable for decisions made based on it.

Acceptable use

The RSS feed, JSON API, llms.txt and llms-full.txt are free to use with attribution ("via ethics.ai") and a link to the original source URL included with each item. Scraping the site to build a directly competing aggregator without attribution is not permitted.
