The importer checks title, description and procurement classification for explicit terms including artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, algorithmic or automated decision systems, computer vision, facial recognition and predictive analytics. It accepts only official Contracts Finder notice URLs carrying the Open Government Licence v3 statement.
How to interpret it
A notice can describe a tender, award, market-engagement exercise or contract variation. Inclusion is not proof of deployment, performance, value for money or ethical quality. The terms filter is deliberately narrow and cannot find notices that describe AI without using one of the selected terms. Follow the official notice before relying on a record.
Provenance and update cycle
The historical series was recovered from the reviewed Contracts Finder archive in the Doug Cloudflare R2 account, then constrained to public, non-contact fields. The production importer now reads the official daily CSV endpoint and revisits the previous seven days on every run so a missed schedule can repair itself. Existing records are retained; matching notices are inserted or refreshed without deleting earlier evidence.
