CMOs Are Asking The Wrong Question About AI And Marketing Roles

Every B2B CMO I talk to right now is asking a version of the same question: What roles do I need on my team for the future? It is a fair question. It is also the wrong one to lead with. AI is not changing marketing by introducing a fixed set of new jobs to […]

Why Performance per Watt Is the Ultimate Metric for AI Infrastructure Efficiency

Power is AI infrastructure’s inescapable constraint. How many tokens an AI factory can generate within a fixed power budget determines its revenue and profitability. Because of this, performance per watt — a metric that can’t be gamed, only earned through real-world results — is the foundation for AI factories. As agentic AI drives token demand […]

Press-Release Governance

On 10 July 2026, the European Commission announced that it had preliminarily found Meta in breach of the Digital Services Act for the “addictive design” of Instagram and Facebook. The Commission considers that Meta should disable autoplay and infinite scroll by default, build in real screen-time breaks, and make the recommender system “less engagement-oriented”. The decision is better understood from its strategic and symbolic dimensions in view of its contestable legal basis. The post Press-Rel

Using uvx in GitHub Actions in a cache-friendly way

TIL: Using uvx in GitHub Actions in a cache-friendly way I finally found a cache-friendly recipe for using uvx tool-name in GitHub Actions workflows that I like. The trick is setting a UV_EXCLUDE_NEWER: "2026-07-12" environment variable at the start of the workflow and then using that as part of the GitHub Actions cache key. This means any uvx tool-name commands will resolve to the most recent version as-of that date, and you can bust the cache and upgrade the tools by bumping the date in the fu

Proactive Agent Research Environment: Simulating Active Users to Evaluate Proactive Assistants

Proactive agents that anticipate user needs and autonomously execute tasks hold great promise as digital assistants, yet the lack of realistic user simulation frameworks hinders their development. Existing approaches model apps as flat tool-calling APIs, failing to capture the stateful and sequential nature of user interaction in digital environments and making realistic user simulation infeasible. We introduce Proactive Agent Research Environment (Pare), a framework for building and evaluating

Private Credit, Public Panic: Why Life Insurers Are Stronger Than the Headlines Suggest

Private credit has become the financial system’s latest designated villain: opaque, fast-growing, and—depending on the headline—one bad quarter away from dragging insurers, banks, and retirees down with it. For the past two years, warnings about life insurers’ private-credit investments have become a staple of financial commentary. In 2024, the International Monetary Fund cautioned that private ... Europe suffered an unprecedented heatwave this June, with debilitating effects felt across various walks of life: thousands of deaths, particularly among the elderly, individuals and families suffering in “heat-trap” apartments, hospitals full and caught unprepared, school closures, and productivity losses. Dignity Without Autonomy

In Prajwala v. Union of India, the Supreme Court held that victims of trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation have a right to rehabilitation under Article 23 read with the right to dignity under Article 21. While the judgment has been celebrated for its three-dimensional dignity framework, it is a missed opportunity to articulate a constitutional basis for protecting the rights of sex workers. The Court's dignity framework – calibrated against objectification in trafficking – is insuffici
